    It is never the outside circumstance that is upsetting us. It’s our own thoughts and feelings about the circumstance.
    Our own thoughts create our feelings. And we feel our thought. The good news is, we can now take ownership for our own experiences. We got ourselves worked up and we can also find the solution to calm ourselves down. We don’t have to look outside ourselves for the answer. When we get upset, that’s just our thoughts and feelings being activated. When we start to “ramp up” our feelings, we can just recognize what’s happening, and give ourselves a break. We just may need some time and space to calm down. Out thoughts and feelings are transitory.
